Kendall’s Greenhouse publishes original content on our website. All text, images, graphics, software, digital and physical products, videos, computer code and other content on this Site are the copyrighted property of Kendall’s Greenhouse, unless otherwise credited.
Fair Use
Kendall’s Greenhouse believes in the spirit of Fair Use. We agree that the ability to speak about and freely reference copyrighted material is a tenet of free speech, contributes to a more educated and democratic society, and benefits the copyright holder by increasing awareness of the material. As such, in keeping with developing Fair Use law and legislation as it applies to internet publishing, we allow and support the following promotional practices without permission:
- Republishing of one (1) photo from our Site onto a site or social media channel with use of our name and a link back to our Site(s). Please note that more than one photo from the same article is not permitted.

- Stock images – We do not allow our photos, videos, screenshots, graphics, imagery, logo, illustrations or other copyrighted visuals to be used as clipart or stock photography for any informational, illustrative, advertising, or promotional purposes, unless compensation and licensing details are agreed upon by both parties prior to usage.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on our site we collect the data requested in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address (called a “hash”) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Please see the Gravatar privacy policy for more information. After approval of your comment, your profile picture, as you uploaded to Gravatar, is visible to the public next to your comment.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Email Lists
If we offer email newsletters, we follow all FTC regulations and support the CAN-SPAM act. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any point by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of a mass communication email.

How Long We Retain Your Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
